I went from a size 24 to 12 and got a new career

A slimmer who dropped six dress sizes with help from a hi-tech inch-loss machine has brought the treatment to Glasgow.
Tina O’Doherty was a size 24 and tipped the scales at 18 stones when she first plugged into the system which - in 20 minutes - is said to recreate the effect of doing 400 sit-ups.
Tina had battled with her weight for years and tried a string of diets.
Then the Arasys Inch Loss Clinic opened near her home in County Cork.
She went along and shed eight stone.
Tina, 28, was so impressed by the results that when she moved to Scotland last August she opened the first Scottish inch loss clinic licensed to use the Arasys System in Edinburgh.
Now, following the success of her first venture, she has opened a second clinic in Glasgow’s Jordanhill.

The Arasys Inch Loss System works through special pads which are applied to the body.
They cause the muscles to contract and help break down fat deposits.
Tina said: “When I was in my late teens I started to put on weight.
“I’ve always enjoyed my food and drink. I also suffer from a condition known as Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome and one of its symptoms is weight gain.”
“But four years on I’m a size 12 and proud of the fact I not only lost over eight stone but have kept it off.”
Tina later learned how to use the slimming machines and when she moved to Scotland to live with her boyfriend Billy Dolan, 40, decided to use her skills to help women here fight the flab.
The couple have moved to Hyndland to get the new clinic up and running.
Tina added: “During the treatment you are encouraged to cut down on food and drink, drink lots of water and start walking.
“Losing the inches gives you the motivation to make these changes.”
