AV Club Can't Get Past Step One
Oh, look, hipsters being hilarious. They link to a Burger King-produced commercial in the vein of such elite comedies as Punk'd in which a Burger King location pretends to take away the Whopper. Uh. Sure. Hilarious? Better still, the AV Club ran this with the headline, "Burger King Punks Fatties." And, uh, the video includes lots of... ready?... THIN PEOPLE. And yet they get a free pass? Plus, lazy writing: Everyone knows that the actual answer to "What happens when you take away Whoppers?" is "Weight loss." Everyone knows that the actual answer to "What happens when you're really close to deadline and see something that you can pin on the fabricated obesity epidemic?" is "Ask AV Club writer Amelie Gillette."continued
